O time jogou com vontade, disposição e mesmo levando um gol logo no início conseguiu tirar a desvantagem. Thiago Neves chamou a responsabilidade e teve uma atuação espetacular. Foi um craque.
Mas espetáculo mesmo foi a torcida do Fluminense. Nunca vi nada tão maravilhoso. Acreditamos e apoiamos do início ao fim . Após o jogo, aplausos merecidos para um grupo que merecia levantar esta taça, honrou a camisa e foi o melhor time da competição. Aplausos de uma torcida que não merecia sofrer como sofreu ontem. Mas quem disse que o futebol é justo?
Porém agora é chegada a hora de levantar a cabeça, não deixar a crise se instaurar e definir como objetivo chegar à Libertadores do ano que vem. É difícil, mas é algo totalmente paupável.
Tinha um mal pressentemento em relação ao jogo de ontem, meio que já esperava pela derrota. Porém por outro lado tenho um ótimo pressentimento em relação ao futuro do Fluminense. Muitos clubes tiveram que ser vice antes de conquistar o título da Libertadores e tenho a certeza de que o dia em que o Tricolor reinará nas Américas chegará, e logo. O Fluminense tem time, tem tradição, tem torcida e tem dinheiro para a partir desta primeira experiência na Libertadores em muito tempo passar a figurar sempre nas fases finais da competição mais importante do continente.

Injusto, não foi.O fluminense pode ter sido o mlehor da competição, mas contou muito com a sorte tb, vencendo um jogo contra o boca em que foi dominado durante praticamente 180 minutos do confronto. A sorte na final acompanhou LDU e com toda justiça, a equipe equatoriana levou a taça e escreveu seu nome na história do futebol do continente. O fato de ter sido justa a vitória da Liga, não quer dizer que uma vitória tricolor tb não seria.
